Vision has developed a new generation of transparent, surgical mask, which not only passes the regulatory requirements, but also offers significantly better comfort in comparison with other conventional masks.

Duties

A position is now open for a dedicate, curious, creative, candidate to assist our Lead Mechanical Engineer in the design and implementation of nanofilter mask integration machine. The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience and creativity to design innovative mechanical systems. The candidate needs to be self-motivated and work well within a team as well as alone, have good troubleshooting abilities, and good communication skills are important.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in 4th or 3rd year of an undergraduate program in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience in a plant environment.
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing methods, such as 3D printing.
  • Ability to create and read mechanical drawings.
  • Familiar with safe operation of shop-floor equipment.
  • Familiarity with the operation of instrumentation, sensors and other electro-mechanical components and controls is an asset.
  • Familiar with use of hand tools.
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as alone.
  • Abilities in oral and written communication.
