TGFRPs

TGFRP stands for Transparent Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composites. Recently, both Apple and Airbus have been working on developing wearable computers and a transparent roof for the first-class section of airplanes using TGFRPs. Apple and LG Electronics filed patents on TGFRPs in 2014 and 2017, highlighting the novelty and applicability of this new generation of materials.

While some of our competitors have focused on advanced applications where price is not a significant concern, Vision Composites has targeted engineering applications, such as water slides and kayaks.

Through a three-year R&D project, Vision has successfully developed a cost-effective polyester-based TGFRP technology suitable for ordinary applications.
