Duties
A position is now open for a dedicate, curious, creative, candidate to assist Electrospinning Scientist in synthesizing nanofibers and fibrous membranes for filtration applications using electrospinning technique. The candidate will be trained to operate lab-scale electrospinning machines and is expected to operate the tools independently after training. The candidate needs to be self-motivated and work well within a team as well as alone, have good troubleshooting abilities, and good communication skills are important.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in 4th or 3rd year of an undergraduate program in Materials Science/Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
- Background in electrospinning process is an asset.
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of chemical solution preparation and materials synthesis is an asset.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as alone.
- Abilities in oral and written communication.
